Why did you choose that charity?
I have volunteered with Chelmsford Mencap since summer 2007, they are growing and growing, and the children are amazing.
What did you do?
Every Saturday, every Tuesday after school and during the school holidays I helped out with Mencap at the special needs school close to my house. We go out on trips, do arts and crafts and basically just give the parents some respite.
Why should someone else volunteer with them?
The more volunteers, the more children who can cared for.
