Why did you choose that charity?
The people who run it were a big influence on me growing up, and I figured it's only fair to give back, and help out with the girls who often have nobody else they can talk to about homelife
What did you do?
Organise shows, events, fundrasing activity, participate in trips away, and help on a regular basis with meetings and activities.
Why should someone else volunteer with them?
There isn't much awareness generally, that so much relies on youth volunteering, and many people think you have to be part of girlguiding to be involved, and it's a shame that so many companies have had to shut down because there aren't enough volunteers that are available and willing to help.
