CyberMentors
How To Get Involved?
All CyberMentors are young volunteers who help, assist and support their peers online through our unique and safe virtual community, www.cybermentors.org.uk.
Beatbullying trains young people from all over the UK as CyberMentors - from those who are still in school, those in college and University, those who are working - all young people up to the age of 25.
CyberMentors offers young people the opportunity to volunteer and help young people from all over the UK who are being bullied. They are trained in how to listen and act as Peer Mentors, and through the CyberMentors website, they lend a listening ear, help out and mentor young people from all walks of life who are affected by bullying.
This opportunity is one of the most flexible ever offered by a UK charity. Young people use social networking sites daily and CyberMentors is an extension of this, for the benefit of young people from all over the UK. Just 2 hours a week online can help young people affected by bullying and discrimination in a way that is pioneering and unique in the sector. It is a chance to join an army of online volunteers, who, between them, help change the lives of thousands of young people from all over the UK.

Charity Profile
CyberMentors is a programme run by the UK's leading bullying prevention charity, Beatbullying. It's a groundbreaking way of tackling online or 'cyber' bullying, using the proven concept of peer to peer mentoring.
CyberMentors is all about young people helping and supporting each other online, taking peer mentoring to another level where young people, aged 11-25, are trained to mentor other young people online. Thousands of young CyberMentors are being trained both on and off line to have the credentials, skills and the confidence to act as mentors and guides to other young people they meet online
