How To Get Involved?
Want to make a difference in your local community? Fancy volunteering, but not sure what is right for you? Get in contact and come down to an informal induction and find out all you need to know about Action for Sustainable Living and what voluntary position would best suit you. Light refreshments will be provided. Mission Statement/Purpose
Through connecting people, sharing resources and supporting communities to live sustainably, Action for Sustainable Living provides a highly effective way for communities to respond to the challenge of Climate Change. They believe that small steps lead to big change.
Charity Profile
Action for Sustainable Living encourages people to make simple lifestyle changes by taking a sustainability pledge. They work with individuals, schools, businesses, communities, and universities to educate and reduce their impact on the enviroment. AfSL has attracted over 11000 pledges. 95% of people who had made pledges said that as a result of their contact with AfSL they were now doing more than before to reduce their environmental impact.
